Also, AI that is omnipotent, knows where you are at all times.
Also, when you change the difficulty to Hard, and they do more damage, and you do less. No AI change.

I second this. Bad camera can ruin a game for me. It's especially bad when it sucks while platforming.

I hate that too. Big machine gun sound = BB gun

I second this. Bad camera can ruin a game for me. It's especially bad when it sucks while platforming.

I got it recently while playing Psyconauts for the first time. I know, I know, its Blashomy to talk ill of Psyconauts, but the only thing irriatated me about that game was camera. There where platforming sections where the camera made it virtually unplayable.

Yeah, I hate the 10mm, although most of the guns sound pretty good in Fallout 3. FEAR had some of the best feeling (and sounding) guns in any game I have ever played.

I also hate games that attract fanboys. Like, I was talking about Half-Life 2 or something and this kid was like, "Halo 3 is better!!!!" and I asked why, and the only reason he could give me was because it was fun. Half-Life 2 is fun, but Halo 3 doesn't even compare. Fanboys piss me off.

Yes, both of these things too. Especially the AI with "telescopic x-ray vision that could see you hiding in a bush 10,000 yards away," like the AI survivors in versus mode of L4D.

Bad camera controls is also up there, which is why I stopped playing Spore as soon as I got to the civilization stage.

Mine would have to be when a games idea of hard mode is just cheating *looking at Cod:WaW throwing 3 grenades at me at once knowing there's no way for me to escape.*

People who are unaware their Xbox 360 headset and mic are on....this usually leads to everyone having to listen to heavy breathing or otherwise strange background sounds. As stated above, kids talking trash on Live is also irritating. Poorly paced save slots drive me crazy too.

Uhh... no? Half-Life was an all around better put together game and had a much better story, no matter how you look at it. Saying a game is better isn't fanboyish. Saying a game is better because everyone else does and for no real reason is fanboyish.

Yes, fanboys are pretty annoying. One of my friends tried to tell me that Gears of War revolutionized console FPS'. While the cover tactic is good, I would hardly say that Gears of War is in any way revolutionary.

Uhh... no? Half-Life was an all around better put together game and had a much better story, no matter how you look at it. Saying a game is better isn't fanboyish. Saying a game is better because everyone else does and for no real reason is fanboyish.

And that's the exact same thing a Halo fan boy might say "Halo is better it had a better story ect ect.." fair enough in your opinion its a better game but cant the other person have their opinion of which game is better.

And it seems (on this forum at least) the majority of people hate halo and love half life.
