Wake up Bobbin, was Bobbin Threadbare from Loom? One of the ancient Lucasarts point and click adventures which leads me nicely onto the leather jackets quote which I beleive is either said to a nasty pirate, the bald guy with the demon parrot, or the 3 headed monkey all from Monkey Island (first one) I think thats right... it has been a while though!

It was this quote which sealed my hatred for the character of Cole. I merely disliked him in Gears 1.

On topic I'd say some of my favourite quotes are almost anything GLaDOS from Portal says (The aperture science high energy orb can cause permanent disabilities, such as vaporisation), and Cole's monologue at the end of Gears 2.

One thing i don't like about the escapist is the ever vigilant "double posting police". it doesn't really matter if someone double posts about something off topic, it's only a problem on FAQ websites. If a topic is good, it will continously crop up in the future, in the end it just helps people start a good online conversation.
