Ok my friends and I are planning to do this Gaming Triathlon thing but we need to more games. the First game is going to be Zelda Ocarina of Time, but we need two more that are good speed run games. We have though of these but not all of us own them but if their good tell me. Banjo Kazooie, Mario 64, Paper Mario, Half Life, and Starcraft the first three campaigns.

Super Metroid if you have a SNES. Or I suppose you could use ROMs too, but I'm not quite sure if ROMs are legal or not.

Oh. Snap.

They should be very different games. Racer, beat-em-up, FPS, something like that. Otherwise you're just doing a gaming marathon, in that you're playing a lot of games right in a row. Which is a thing, but not an impressive thing.

Definatly Half-Life as the FPS.
That game can be done quite quickly in a speedrun.

They don't really have to but I would perfer that way we might have them, their classics (sorta) and if we don't their cheap.

Mega Man X and Super Metroid are the two best speed run games ever. Play those, best games to speed run through.

That sounds fairly balanced. Do that. You have my approval.

Well Starcraft is a really shaky one cause that just seems annoying to play non stop for like 10 hrs. Any other idea's to fill that spot?

First suggestion: don't play anything non-stop for 10 hours. Your eyes and non-atrophied muscles will thank you.

Second, replace it with a Command and Conquer game. You can set parameters so each round won't last more than 20 minutes or so.

Don't think you can in the campaign can you? RTS is probably a bad choice of genre for a speed run.

Well yeah we wouldn't play it like exactly straight we're not stupid.... well one of us is, we would take breaks a lot.
But that might be good but I've never really gotten into CaC.
