Gaming TV

Top gear, family guy and southpark are pretty much the only programs i watch on tv (unless Big Brother is on, its funny watching people less intelligent than myself )
I realized the other day that if there were more programs about games (e.g reviews of games, game trailers, game news etc) i would watch tv a hell of a lot more.
What do you guys think? And if there are some already, please let me know!

Personally, I wouldn't, but I don't watch television mainly because most commercials make me want to claw my eyes out.

Gamezville that was on Sky One a few years ago was the best show for game reviews and stuff... And was worth watching just for the Games Guru.
Nowadays I struggle to find anything half decent on my 1000+ channel Sky TV

There was a channel completely devoted to games and reviewing, but it closed down or changed it's name. If you have satellite, there should be one or two...

I havn't watched a games TV show since Games Master. I think there is one on Bravo called 'Playr' but I have never seen it.

Holy shit I remember that show! God, I used to love that when I was a kid, thanks to that show I learned what a whitewash is, and what a guru is...Albeit, an awesome one.

OT: There are a good few shows out about gaming which have reviews and all that, the ones I have seen are on Bravo.

Hey, they do that with football/soccer, baseball, poker, chess, basketball, skiing, lugging, lacrosse-ing, and loads of other things that we're too lazy to do ourselves.

So why not add gaming to the mix?

The game guru was hilarious. I wonder if he ever got out of that lift shaft?

The two presenters were atrocious though. Borderline chavs if I remember right. There was an episode where they were asked what the hardest gaming thing they'd ever done was and they said The Maw from Halo. Lightweights.

If the latter happened, you would be watching some one watch something for their entertainment for your own entertainment. Like a messed up Escher painting.

Though it could be funny watching fanboys throw a fit if they loose.

I don't know why, but I prefer to read my video game reviews verses watching them. I feel Gamespot is one of the few companies that have done video reviews well. G4 just seems too cutesy and makes me feel silly for watching it.

There used to be a channel on SKY devoted to gaming, but ever since the economic downturn, it disappeared. Weird huh?....

There's a channel on Sky that only broadcasts between 4 and 6am, even more hilarious, it has a +1 channel.
