how much variety do you have in your games? I know variety might not seem that easy with the gaming industry

but I mean I think I would go mad if I just kept playing realisitc shooter after realistic shooter (seriously do people do that?), even from a PC gaming perspective I also like other kinds of games like action games or thrid person shooters and RPG's (I dont think this is the case but theres no point being a PC gamer if all you can play are bloody FPS basically what im saying is bad ports are better than no game at all)

I think while you could say alot of my games are vaugley similar they are different enough to keep things interesting, as I often play a few games at the same time (this time Ive really given myself a big backlog, I am currently on Saints row 2, Darksiders, fallout new vegas and Dead space 2, plus Im also doing a playthough of ME2...you know because I have nothing important to do)

next on my list are probably:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (shadow of chynoble right? or call of piripat?)

Lessee... personally? FPS (less so than other genres), RPG, RTS, TBS (including 4X), for the most part, with a smattering of action/fighting, and a decent amount of shmup.

Currently playing Battle for Wesnoth, Arx Fatalis and will soon start Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising. Got Advent Rising, Citizen Kabuto, some multiplayer Age of Wonders, and maybe Jagged Alliance 2 lined up next. I don't play much in the way of FPS games lately, having played all the old ones, and the new ones are too harsh on my computer (plus, I don't have the right consoles, and dislike playing shooters on consoles in any case).

Oh, and Shattered Steel, I should really get around to that too. Old, old game. With the distinction of being a Bioware game with giant mechs. Sounds good to me, at least.

By the way, as for the STALKER games, here's a quick rundown: Shadow of Chernobyl is the first. Less than streamlined gameplay, but amazing story and atmosphere, be sure to get the STALKER Complete 2009 mod for it so it's not a complete mess.

Clear Sky is the prequel, most pretend it doesn't exist.

Call of Pripyat is the latest game, and a sequel. Won't run on my computer, but from what I hear, it has better gameplay/less bugs, and inferior plot.

No problem! The Complete mod can be found here [http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-complete-2009/downloads/stalker-complete-2009-14-exe-installer]. I believe there's one for Clear Sky too, if you decide to play that, but the Call of Pripyat Complete mod is a work in progress, so it hasn't been released yet.

Also, Pripyat has higher system requirements, as far as I know. Not sure if Clear Sky does.

I'm pretty sure I play games of every genre, except for Fighting games, which I don't understand.

Play what ever you can get your hands on. If its cheap and reasonably good, get it!

I have a large collection of JRPGs, but I also like to have a little bit of everything. I have 2 FPSes, a MMO, several platformers and puzzle games along with a couple WRPGs and a few horror games among others. Actually I think the only genre I don't have is RTS, because I hate RTSes.
