Hmmm... lets see here...

You know, the only thing that actually comes to mind right now was my online experience with Blazblue: Calamity Trigger. Why? I didn't get to keep my records for Continuum Shift. So, me being level 30+ only got me two trophies, nothing more.

Other than that really, I think my time with my FUBAR'd Soul Reaver 1 & 2 disks... I mean, cmon, Soul Reaver 1, can't get into the second boss' lair due to game glitch, and with Soul Reaver 2 I can't even leave the FIRST FREAKING AREA!!!

Guess I just have to torrent the PC versions, I mean, cmon, I own the games, I'm gonna damn well play them even if I have to pirate the non-console versions to do it. I'd suspect that's legal since I do own the games

And if not, well, whatever. I want my Legacy of Kain fix

Playing through as 'good' in fable 3 and not getting everyone killed. Most. lute. solos. ever. You get a note saying 'you don't suck!'. That's it, nothing else, no big fanfare, no unlocks, just 'congrats'
This reminded me of Omega Weapon in FFVIII. By far the easiest optional FF boss, there was no sense of achievement for beating it whatsoever, no real reward or anything- a complete waste of time.
Then you open your menu and discover they filled in the little gap with "yay, you beat Omega". Yeah? I also put up with Rinoa, do I get a certificate for that?

The entire game of final fantasy 13
the fact you feel so underpowered even when every single paradigm is maxed out makes the whole journey pointless
and un-final fantasy like

I remember that achievement for L4D where you had to kill a stupidly large amount of zombies which took a stupidly large amount of time. I eventually did it though, but it was the most time costly achievement I have ever had to do so far.

How in New Vegas the strip is cut into four parts.
Okay so I wanna go to LOAD the NCR base and LOAD talk to the guy stationed there to LOAD get a quest to help the LOAD NCR. Okay time to LOAD leave and do that quest let me LOAD quick warp out to the nearest spot.

If they made the strip just one big area it would be SO much easier to navigate and not hair pulling every time I want to walk from one end to the next. How about: I spawn in the strip, not in front of it. Walk to what ever I want. Breaking it up just kills flow
A good fast hard drive on PC helps immensely with this issue. If you're playing it on a console...you poor sucker. I've never had a loading screen last longer than about two and a half seconds. And maybe I'm more patient than most but two seconds out of my life is no big deal.

I just wound up doing that one anyways through the course of playing, myself.

Waiting for Fallout 3 and New Vegas (and pretty much all Obsidian games) to be fixed an completely bug-free. New Vegas keeps crashing the moment I set one foot into red canyon. had to rely on the movetoqt cheat to finish the great khan quests.

I just didn't see it as a waste of time because I was playing the game anyways (Wasn't really working towards it), and killing zombies is pretty par for the course in that game, lol.

yeah, actually your right. I did have loads of fun playing that game :D And still do to this very day. I guess my biggest waste of time then would be prestiging in the CoD games. I still do it, even though I know I get next to nothing for it and have to start over :/ oh well, I will learn some day I guess.

There's an entire gameplay section in Final Fantasy 13 near-ish to the beginning where your stuck playing as Sazh and Vanille...the entire section consists of activating this giant machine thing in the middle of a giant junkyard.

It adds NOTHING to the story whatsoever!

Proper Sandbox games (e.g. Minecraft, Garry's Mod). Tjere is no "point", you just make things and watch them go boom.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, FarCry2. The most bullshit game ever, while the idea of a huge terrain was awesome at first, it gets tiresome having to drive an actual IRL 15 minutes to get to where the mission actually begins.

Assasin's Creed, both 1 and 2, where you spend a lot of time carefully planning the perfect hit, checking the best escape route and eliminating surrounding guards. Turns out every damn mission has you running gauntlet through guards in scripted sequences, or youre only given a few precious seconds to take out your target which forces you to throw all your planning to hell.
