I'm pretty sure Mark of Kri is about Kiwis.

Nah, that's about a pseudo-polynesian culture, sort of a blend of Samoan, Tongan, Maori and others, in the same way Lord Of The Rings is about medieval times.

Good game though. Not many have played it.

So, to the question at hand;

Thane from Mass Effect 2. From the moment which entered the game I loved him. The cutscene from his recruitment mission was incredibly awesome, from which point I lay down the controlled and said: "Yep, that's my new squadmate!"

He ruined my game experience as well, as the suicide mission went, well, to shit.

OT: I'm going to choose Irish from Red Dead Redemption. He may have been a drunk that never helped me, but I enjoyed every cut scene with him.
