Gaming's coolest Foreigners. Period.

I was getting worried. A page and a half of Russians, and it is always Russians, and yet the closest thing to Father Grigori was sort of mention from the guy from New Zealand. I can think of any video game characters that's half as badass as this guy.

Does Zevran from Dragon Age: Origins count? He's basically fantasy-Spanish, and if you want to split hairs he IS technically a foreigner in the setting he's in.

If it has to be a real-world ethnicity different than my own, I'm gonna go with Bill McDonagh (Scottish) from Bioshock. Even if you never get to meet him, he still leaves a great impression as a grumpy mechanic turned disillusioned enforcer for Ryan.

Raiden and Grey Fox from MGS are pretty cool too. Both African, if I remember correctly (though both white as snow as well, so eh).

I honestly can never see why Russians always dominate threads like this? Is it the accents, or the callous disregard for petty things like human life and general sanity they are always portrayed as having?

As someone born in the Ukraine in the 80s, I must admit that the callous disregard for human life and sanity is highly evidenced by the post Chechnyan War generation.
