Garry's Mod Help Required.

Urgent help required:

When I launch Garry's Mod (from Steam), after about 5 seconds of waiting I receive this message: "steam has found a problem with your local games file..." etc. This means I am currently unable to play Garry's Mod which is a great shame. Click OK and it reverts back to this message, endlessly repeating the cycle.

Things I have tried:
Deleting Local Content and re-installing.
Deleting AppUpdateStats.blob and ClientRegistry.blob and updating Steam.
Validating Source SDK Base files.
Validating the game files.
Defrgamenting Garry's Mod files.

Please help me.

Do you have other Steam games? Gmod doesn't come with a copy of the Source engine.

I do. Mostly Source games.
