Garry's mod help

Hello, fellow gamers. I assume, since most steam users have it, that a lot of you have garry's mod 10.

Well, if you do i would like some help, if you would be so kind.

I am soon to finally get my hands (digital, of course) on it, and i have heard of loads of extra mods for it...like wiremod, Gcombat, and phoenix storm. These are apparently extras...like new models, new functionality and stuff like that. I have looked around and found some rather dodgy download sites for them...I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for the garry's mod mods?

garrysmod.org definitely looks shifty, but it's trustworthy. Although lots of people hate it because it's slow.

Also the offical Garrysmod blog (Garrysmod.com) always has some really Relatively nice add ons and maps every week or so.
