So I'm having a little trouble with my attempts to get the Publishers club subscription.

Unfortunately When I sign in the the American site I am presented with this!

So I'm not being given the option to use my existing card. And it being an American site. I cannot enter Solo card details.
So can the escapist help me?
Or should I just give up and be content with forever begin a normal member...

OT: This really reflects my absolute inability to handle financial matters.

It sounds obvious your current card isn't accepted. Perhaps you could get another, internationally-used one...?

Couldn't you just re-enter your existing card information? Or is that the problem, that because it's a Solo, you can't use it?

I say mail the Escapist your £5.54 and hope they accept it.

Tis the problem. And I don't want to get a credit card, because I wouldn't want the bills, Even if I just used it this once.

I can't see any way round it short of resorting to PayPal, and t'Escapist doesn't like that.

EDIT: They could set up subscription whatsits on other countries' versions of Amazon, I suppose. That'd probably be too much work to be cost-effective, though, given that Solo/Maestro users are presumably something of a minority.
