Well for those of you not from around the UK. Now's the time of year here in the UK a lot of students get their exam results for their respective levels. I know that a lot of people here are a lot older than 16-19 and there are many people from different countries but I was just wondering how everyone else faired.

I got 3 As 4Bs and 2Cs still awaiting the results of a BTEC I took.

If anyone in other countries has similar exam results this time of year then feel free to join in the with general ego stroking.

Just got my A2 results back. Made it into Durham uni for applied Psychology (2009, gap year ftw)
Grades overall:

GCSE: 3 As, 3 Bs, 3 Cs.
AS: 3 As (including one from General studies), 2 Bs.
A-Level: 4 Bs (including one from General Studies).

Yes my friends, I am a B student. I'm above average, but not enough to appear smart ;D the pointlessness of getting good GCSEs beyond getting you into your A-level course becomes a stark reality after you start your AS studies. All that work for nothin' -_-

I'm in Australia so we just got our half yearly grades back:
1 A English
5 B's
1 C in religion so it doesn't count.
1 D in P.e. so it doesn't count.

Just got A2 back and made my offer for history at Oxford

GCSE: 8A*'s, 2A's
AS: 4A's
A2: 4A's

also good GCSE's are really not pointless and are being used more and more by unis...

Well, good luck all of you, although unless you got really bad results (All E's or below) you shouldn't have a problem getting into your Uni.

And if you did badly, its not the end of the world :)

TeeHee.

My excpected grades are (took some internal exams that equate to mocks) are pretty much all B's.

I guess I'm set, I didn't look at a single book before the exam ! :D

Gawd bless lazyness.

I just finished my A2 levels

C in History
C in Law
E In General Studies (don't really count that seeming as I sent to about 3 lessons in my 2 years there)

I've been accepted into Aberystwyth Uni to do History and Welsh History starting in 2009 after my gap year :)

*edit* Forgot to mention... I also got a C in English GCSE after 3 attempts!

GCSE's
4 A's
5 B's
1 C

Not very good, but I expected it since I put no effort whatsoever into them

Can one of you give a run-down on how that system works? In the States it's a totally different system and I'm curious as to how that's all ran across the oceans.

We don't have E's...in fact, we skip E's and go straight to F's...well, I do anyway.

You had to do General Studies too? I hated that course, tis just common sense and debating.
And it counts for nothing on University Application.

I was pleased with my grades of CDDDE.
I know its not great but I really didn't try my best.
And I can continue to A2, unlike many of my friends.

Oh and to the spelling FUDGE
One friend spelt BEEF at GCSE and another got CBA for AS =P
