Gears 3 Co-Op Hookup Thread

Hi all,

I'm planning a playthrough of Gears 3 which maximises Achievements earned, and I've figured out that this will involve playing through the game in 4-player Arcade co-op, on Insane difficulty and picking up 100% of collectables and COG tags (and of course getting the Respect For The Dead secret achievement along the way). Only problem? I need two more players.

If anybody out there has a copy of the game and would like to join me (and earn themselves some sweet Gamerscore and Achievements along the way) please either register your interest here, send me a private message, or best of all just send me a Xbox Live Friend Invite (gamertag is Batou667).

Ideally I'd like to play with other gamers in the UK (just for timezone convenience). Owning a mic would be a plus but not essential. More importantly, ideally I'd like to get a couple of guys or girls on board who are also keen on playing through the game in 4-player, won't quit out halfway through a game, and are up for a stiff challenge!

I usually do multiple playthroughs of my shooters, anyway, so I'll do those things on separate playthroughs. I understand why you'd want to do it all in one go, but that would just be a bit much for me.

Yeah, I can appreciate that. I've already played through the game at a less intense difficulty and at a more relaxed pace.

But it would be a bit of a waste to include me in your game cause I already have all the campaign / co-op achievements. So, only add me if you cannot find a fourth player. Plus, I'm in the US, so I'll be on in about a couple of hours from now.

Thanks for the offer. Still finding other players and it's too late to start playing now in the UK (it's 1 in the morning!) but maybe I'll look you up.
