I could not care less about Gears coming to PS3. I'm fine with all my exclusives and I frankly find the Gears series to be boring. Were any PS3 players actually holding their breath for this?

Considering PS3 players dislike the game, and the negtive responce this got from here (was I expecting any different? nope...) it would be a waste of time and effort to port it.
On the other hand...actually, nevermind. Considering I've seen what, one post in support of Gears, I'm guessing Gears is the same crowd as COD/Halo on the escapist. Even though I'd rather play resistance or god forbid, Nazi's in spa- I mean kill-zone before trying uncharted. The whole premise of the game sounds iffy, and it just sounds like Tomb raider, but with a dick for a protaginst.

No, and CliffyB has actually said in the past that they like working with MS and they have many reasons to stick to their current platform lineup. He didn't rule out a PS3 release at the time, and I understand that recent comments from elsewhere in the company raised the question of a PS3 port again, which is why he's repeating himself.bombadilillo said:
As much as I love Uncharted, Gears is a better shooter than Uncharted. Uncharted has epic action movie scenes but I prefer Gears of War for it's cover based gameplay mechanics, the multiplayer, the variety of monsters to fight, and exceptional split-screen and online co-op.
