Gears of War vs Halo

In a universe warfare - Halo. Master Chief v Marcus - Marcus every time, I quite like Halo but would love to see him get evisorated by Marcus.

Unfortunately Halo. Better tech, more OP characters. That being said I hate Halo and would hope every moment something would tip the balance in the favour of COG. You see, I have actually had fun with the Gears series. Actually Reach was alright because they abandoned what made Halo it's infuriating self and improved it.

This is no contest. The Halo universe would beat the shit out of the Gears universe.

I do prefer Gears of War as a game though.

Halo. The Spartans--at least the version of them in the books--would rip the Gears apart. They are super soldiers, and we've already seen what happens when they go up against normal humans.

Yes, I'm sure a chainsaw is going to stand up to a weapon thats a one hit kill on a enemy with shields. Lancer would be cut in half by it, as well as the poor sod holding it. Plasma > chainsaw.

Don't get me wrong; Gears is a fun game. But the tech levels...UNSC got the COG beat there.

What does this mean exactly? Are you talking about Master Chief in a fight with Marcus Fenix? Or the main characters in a fight with each other or if by random chance the Halo space ships stumbled across Sera? I guess you'd have to say Halo purely because of the strength of the weapons, vehicles and spartans, but that won't stop me from saying Gears. The COG know how to use cover and evade. Spartans just know how to have "most heroic death" contests.

A most Heroic death contest still beats "how many Carmines can we send to their death lol" contest.

tho your for getting one thing gear isn't on earth so the lancer might be made of a different kind of metal that isn't found on earth
