Anyone go to GenCon this year? I went again as always. I did my normal thing, bought some t-shirts and some art prints, played in some tournaments. I came in 2nd in the Railways of the World tourney. I lost by one point in my Ark Nova tourney qualifier. You would think that your friend group of gamers would be at least somewhat not as good at games than a huge population, but the tournaments didn't feature anyone playing these games at some higher level that I'm used to inside my friend's group. The Railways players were astonished at how few bonds I needed in the Railways matches and I was surprised by how many bonds they were taking.
I slept on a couch with the back cushions across the couch and barely had any room.
You can go literally anywhere in the Colts stadium, I always take a trip to the press box to see the view.
