Huh. I didn't know there was gonna be another vesion of RE live-action movie w/ the legend himself.

Really wish we've gotten this version instead of Paul Anderson version. Granted he did capture some of the more goofier aspects of the games, but Romero probably would've done the horror part better

I remember reading Romero's leaked RE script as an early teen. The worse change he ever did was making Chris Redfield part Native American. I didn't have a problem with it, but that is so much better than all of those Paul WS Anderson piece of shit fan fic films.

A movie adaptation of Helldivers II and Horizon Zero Dawn and (as @BrawlMan mentioned) an anime based on The Ghost of Tsushima is in the works.

I wonder if the fact that the TV series based on The Last Of Us was a big hit, both viewing-wise and critic-wise, has made them bold.

I'll give a nod to The Animatrix and maybe Cyberpunk Edgerunners, but that's really it.

Bullshit, and I give credit where credit is due. Most of these projects turned out pretty good in quality or made a profit.

I saw about half of Animatrix and lost interest.

(Oh, and I liked the Anderson RE films. Or rather they start out good enough, and I watch the last ones out of inertia. Not played the games, though)
