Blaze Fielding had been using panty shots since the second game. It was censored in the western releases.

Supergirl's costume is awesome and you will not see me complaining. Only a super comic needs and unpleasable fans would cry about this. I'm here for the characters and action. I'm not gonna cry over some change to a costume most normal people aren't gonna cry about.

Holy Moly! On Amazon Prime, there is a Citadel S2 that just dropped! 3 years since S1 that got consistent episode scores of about 6.5/10 in IMDB and is one of the most expensive TV shows ever produced! Boy, makes me want to pay that extra money for commercial free! To help Amazon pay for ratings losing content!!! *sarcasm*. Honestly, I don't even remember much of anything from S1.

It was the result of "Hey Grok, write a spy show. Main dude has amnesia. Go".

There are rumors of a complete Kubrick UHD collection by Criterion.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=401900

Too bad Criterion will squeeze all the sensitive UHD discs into the sleeves of a cardboard case whose spine breaks after ten uses. Very hip.

The talk about Christopher Nolan messing with the 4K of 2001: A Space Odyssey is interesting. Hopefully, they will redo the master.

The thing is that there are people much more knowledgeable and qualified than Nolan working at Warner who specialize in film restoration and who know exactly how to faithfully translate film to a video format.

You look at Warner's latest remasters (especially those from Warner Archive) and when viewed on proper displays, they look like actual high quality film prints. I compared a film print of Christmas Vacation to the remastered Blu-ray and I'll be damned if it didn't have the same framing, colors, etc as the print (probably due to Warner's consistent usage of reference prints, something that a lot of smaller companies don't use). If you know the amount of research and work put into each one of Warner's remasters/restorations then you'd know that having Nolan help them out is absolutely pointless and is more likely to cause issues than add something positive to the presentation.

There is zero reason why Nolan is needed to assist with this restoration, other than to use his name in hopes that it will bring in more people who are Nolan fans that aren't familiar with 2001. One thing that Kubrick fans should know is that whenever someone else is brought in to oversee these remasters/restorations and are seen as more important than objective information/reference materials, it usually ends in disaster.
Nolan was 100% involved with the UHD. I was told by someone who had a contact at Warners that their transfer was ready to go when Nolan stuck his oar in and demanded that he get to do all this 'unrestored' bollocks with the prints. That then extended to him approving the UHD, putting it back by months while he tinkered. The horribly thin blacks and splodges of DNR are Nolan hallmarks all day long. Why doesn't it look like 'his' prints of the film then? Eh, why do the old and new transfers of his back catalogue look so different in places despite ALL being Nolan approved?

FWIW even the press bumpf said the following:

For this milestone anniversary, Warner Bros. will continue the celebration later this year when Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases “2001: A Space Odyssey” for the first time in 4K resolution with HDR. Also produced in close collaboration with Nolan, the home entertainment release will be available in the fall of 2018.

To quote the original novella of Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, you're the kind of guy who could get handed a sack of gold and you'd ***** about the weight.
