I have literally NEVER paid attention to it... its still alive.Averant said:On one hand this is hilarious.
On the other hand, LET IT DIE ALREADY. if you stop paying attention to it, we'll stop hearing about it!
Wow. The Escapist seems to have this slightly eerie ability to say exactly what needs to be said in the first post and then proceed to completely ignore it.Averant said:On one hand this is hilarious.

It's funny, I've seen more publicity for Twilight come from the people who hate it than those who like it. Maybe if people did just let it die, everyone wouldn't have to deal with every website rehashing old Twilight bashing memes over and over again and we could get on with finding something new to dispise.Kinguendo said:I have literally NEVER paid attention to it... its still alive.Averant said:On one hand this is hilarious.

The people who dont like it ARENT buying the tickets to see it. Surprisingly, ignoring things solves very few problems.
The actual Twilight franchise gets nothing from memes taking the piss out of it, very few people see something get slated for being about sparkly Vampires and decide to watch it based on nothing more than it being slated. Chances are, its probably the whole "Sparkly Vampire" thing that they were watching for.wintercoat said:It's funny, I've seen more publicity for Twilight come from the people who hate it than those who like it. You've clearly never taken a bat'leth to the face. The wedding porn in the last movie was pretty awesome, not gonna lie.Lilani said:Anyway, I do like Twilight (not a twi-hard, but I do look forward to seeing the film next year) and I'm not scared of the Trekkies and Star Wars fans. Even if he unites them (fat chance) the last film will be out and I'll have gotten all I want out of the series
