First of all, it's not the Potsdam University, it's the Hasso Plattner Institute (which is right next to the Potsdam University) which offers the course.

Apologies, I can only quote from my sources. According to my available news sources, the HPI is part of the Potsdam University on the Potsdam-Babelsberg-on-Griebnitzsee campus.

Second of all it's not like they're pulling this off because all of the students there are social rejects.

Well it is on the Babelsberg campus and it cooperates with the Potsdam University, but it is not part of it from what i understand. The Potsdam University has it's own departement for computer science (and the students there tend to hate the HPI, because it's superior).
Nothing you could know by reading the Reuters message, so no apology needed.
Oh and i am sorry for implying that social reject stuff. It's just that everywhere i read this news it's more or less like it. And then they add pictures of some LAN parties or something with nerdy kids.

That game was made by Toaplan. FYI the ex-members of Toaplan formed a new company called CAVE and still make games to this day. Try Ketsui DS and be amazed

I want the shirt because it's mad funny, but the fact that the class even exists just depresses me. I'm glad that I'm better off than -some- people, I guess.
