That's just so low... I wonder if anyone buys it.
Now that I think of it, not such a bad tactic (even if it's incredible cheap), imagine people marketing products that promote your gaming ability; almost like selling diet products.

I mean if you really want to get high then just choose games that go along, or aren't hardcore.
Noby Noby anyone?

It works for Mario, why can't it work for me?

When I play COD4 past midnight there are a lot of people who are playing it while high. But they usually don't care about there score and are just amazed if they get more than 2 kills.

Oh, that is rich... Gah, let the potheads have their pot, they aren't hurting anyone.
We're helping people, rather than getting drunk and causing street problems, your just staying in your home, happy and relaxed.

An interesting idea, and certainly something new. It's good for them; creativity is the key.

But they should have read their stereotypes first: Most gamers are arrogant. Now, arrogant stoner gamers? Yeah, you're not going to get a word into them.
Pretty much what we're seeing on this thread at the moment.

Quite funny, but quite false. A friend of mine plays better when high, quite an odd phenomena.
A friend of mine does, too. I assume it has something to do with being relaxed.

Very relevent HST ref right there :)

One thing companies such as "Above the Influence" needs to learn is either have a message with some back up...(hmm fast food clogs your insides) or you just have a message that is equal to what some stoned 13 year old Wikipedia changing pokemon player could churn out.

Noby Noby anyone?
I've always imagined that something like that would sell. Food products or minor exercise items and stuff like that. The slogan could be something like "Overclock your body"

At least these PSAs are starting to find the right target markets.

Personally, I don't play games for street/net cred, I play them for the colors, all the wonderful swirling colors. Especially NobyNoby Boy.

We don't smoke weed to get the most of their games, we play games to get the most out of their weed.

Sadly its been done.
I know theres energy drinks, "Headshot" snack bars, even Japanese gaming pills that boost your concentration and reflexes.

Needless to say, Im gonna try and get some to see if they work.

As for the drugs, never been a fan.

I have met people on XBL who play much better when they are high, the opposite is true for drunkeness though!
