I just bought one of those made-for-PC Xbox 360 controllers, and I would like to know how to get the light in the center of the controller to stop blinking at me?
My Xbox 360 controllers do that when there's a connection issue.
I fix it by either replacing batteries or pressing the connect button on the controller and then on the console. So I guess it's a same kind of problem for the PC-controller. Maybe try:
-New batteries if relevant.
-Connecting/configuring the controller again.
-Updating the software.
-Rule out interference if it's wireless.
-Screw it open, yell at the wiring, close it back up.
-Customer service.
Thanks for the suggestions. Fortunately though, I bought a wired controller (not a big fan of wireless). I'll try re-configuring the controller, but i'm pretty sure that it isn't a connection issue. As for the batteries, it doesn't take them so i'm ok there. Again, thanks for the help, i'll let you know if I get it sorted.
