So I've been looking into the card game Magic: The Gathering and, having played it very briefly in the past, want to get back into it. I don't have any cards and thought about getting a Deck Builder for me and my fiend. Now said friend has told me he would try Magic but its not likely he will buy his own cards or play all that much. I really do want to get into this game. I thought maybe bringing him to a FNM would help but I live in small town with nothing like that near by.
So my question to the Escapist Community is how can I get my friend into Magic? I think he would really like it if he gave it a chance. Also what would be a good mana for us to start out on?
