Getting away from the capchas

Yeah, yeah, they will be here a while. But here's another suggestion in the tech game of tag with spammers.

Just sayin, if we can do something like this on the site, there would be less of a chance of spammers getting access.

How? The Photo thing doesn't make sense, and from what I can gather the HTTP only really stops hackers, not spammers. So... I really don't think they are relevant.

They only use that system if you log in from a computer you have never logged in before. It's really only to protect from hackers and nothing else.

I don't see how that same type of system could work here.

I was actually thinking along the lines of the second one. Or if you're here and look at any of your friends avatars and can link faces, it could (theoretically) work here on a smaller scale.
