Okay, so i got my account back on guild wars; and i can faintly remember how to play. I want to be able to complete the nightfall campaign, as it is the furthest campaign i am in as far as i know.

I can just about remember you have 8 special spells you can use, and there are things called "Builds". I am a warrior/necromancer, or vice versa, i will check later.

Can someone please tell me:-

-A good "build"
-How to get the spells for the "build"
-Some good tips to advance through the campaign

Thanks.

Here's [http://pvx.wikia.com/index.php?title=Category:All_working_PvE_builds&from=Team+-+2+Monk+Rotscale+Farm] a good site for builds, the ones shown under "W" are frequently used PvE Warrior builds. You can search by requirement though on the main page. It also shows where to capture the elite skills, and where to buy the regular ones. I usually run Hundred Blades/Triple Chop when I'm doing general PvE on my Warrior.

Guild Wars Guru [http://guildwarsguru.com/forum/] is also good for keeping you up to date with what's happening.

For tips, none are really needed when progressing through the campaign on normal mode. I find having a party like this works well for NM when you're playing on your own though:
1. Player
2. Monk (Protection)
3. Monk (Healing)
4. Elemantalist
5. Necromancer
6. Melee
7. Melee
8. Extra monk/caster

Also, try altering builds when you're confident with them.

Warrior/Necromancer either way around doesn't sound like much of a good combination to me. But, then again, I stopped playing around a month after Eye of the North came out.

Is it worth starting again after getting quite far into the campaign?

I'd say so, warriors don't have much mana so it's useless with a necromancer.

If you like the game then it's worth playing through to the end of every campaign. If along the way you get into a decent guild and start playing PvP then by all means stay.

People >hate< W/Mo's and call them "Wammos", whatever you do, don't bring any healing skills with you as a Warrior, you will be ridiculed, percieved as a noob and maybe even abandoned in the middle of missions.

W/N was a decent combination, you can use the Necromancer skill Plague Touch to transfer conditions from yourself to an enemy. I havent played a Warrior since 2006, so i cant really give you any other advice.

I also havent played for a year, i forgot just about everything about skills and builds, but the PvX wiki is a great resource, have alook at builds, and experiment by yourself, its part of the game and very fun.

Basically the Monk part is useless just use Warrior skills as these will help your part more.

If you REALLY need help add Jusai Dasiki to your friends list and i shall come and lend a hand when need be.

You don't need a secondary class for a warrior, most warrior builds are just warrior skills. Though W/E is still a good combination because Shock Axe is fun fun fun to play.

Eh, i don't really care what's "noobish" or want, and thanks for the advice for my current character anyway.

No do not start again wait untill you are able to change you're secondary profession and change it to sometihng so you can use a better build with like the ones mentioned already and go to PVX as that is probably the one of the best places for builds.

Although Plague Touch is good it is more of PvP thing in my opinion.

Ah. When I played I stuck to R/N and tanked in 'Wilderness survival' and Marksmanship.

As soon as I got ignite arrows, I could do immense damage to anything in an area that my arrows landed. The Necro skills are handy sometimes, but possibly something else is more useful.

Ah Guild Wars. Haven't played that game in a while. I'll probably pick it up again before Guild Wars 2 is released.

This is the only area I can really help you in, but I haven't done much in Nightfall. My only real advice is to remember that in Nightfall you are horribly railroaded to the story, and can't advance to many new areas without progressing in the plot. Though this only really affects you if you like to explore or you are trying to get a specific skill.

I do like to explore so the railroading in Nightfall disappointed me. One of my favorite gaming memories was taking the alternate path across the Shiverpeaks in Prophecies, even if it was pointless to do so.
