Yep, you have pretty much ended the thread.

Anyway, learn the maps like the back of your hand.

It depends on the game. Some games it's best simply to learn through your own experiences. In other games trying to learn through your own experiences is like trying to punch through a brick wall. In that case I look for help online. Sometimes I also try fighting against computers, though that can be useless depending on the quality of the AI.

But does Brutal Legend have multiplayer? I thought it was only singleplayer.

Practice makes perfect, although depending on natural ability the practice time can get longer.

Go read some guides? Somebody has probably create a detailed strategy guide by now that tells you what does or does not work based off of played a thousand or so games already.

It actually started off as a multiplayer concept. Once they perfected the multiplayer they started making singleplayer campaign. The singleplayer is designed to teach you how to do well at the multiplayer mode (it's done excellently).

The best way is to just play. The more you play, the more you learn. The more you learn, the better you are.

Play games that need multiplayer like the Lego games. All I do in Battlefront is multiplayer. I never really get GOOD at a game, I just suck. But play multiplayer-based games is one way.
