And now you got me wondering: How will DIVORCES work in Skyrim?Grouchy Imp said:World Exclusive! Dovahkiin speaks out!
In a recent interview, Skyrim saviour the Dovahkiin himself, revealed his reasons for undertaking the many perilous quests that lead to his eventual success. Many had believed the stout warrior was guided by destiny. Loyalty to his country and the late Emperor were also common theories. Some few even believed he had done it for fame or gold. But the Black Horse Courier has learned the truth from the noble warrior himself: "I had to do something" he said, "to get out of the house."

70 hours of running? Oblivion had a fast travel system you know, it was Morrowind that forced you to walk everywhere (not that that's a bad thing, I liked it that way myself). In Oblivion you just select places on the map and then you're there.GreatTeacherCAW said:Is this going to add another useless 70 hours of running around in the game? Fuck.
I'm excited. As I said above, anything is an improvement over the empty shells that are Oblivion's NPC's.dogstile said:I swear i'm the only one who's optimistic about them actually using more voice actors + this. Means they're trying to make NPC's likable again.
With a Summon Clanfear spell and an alibi. How else?busterkeatonrules said:And now you got me wondering: How will DIVORCES work in Skyrim?Grouchy Imp said:World Exclusive! Dovahkiin speaks out!

Yeah, Oblivion often felt like an afterlife where I was sent to for being bad. Everyone has the same stilted dialogue, forced smiles, and hollow eyes. It felt like I was the only one alive as they hardly recognized my existence. This marriage thing should help.Irridium said:I'm excited. If so you would have married the stupidest person in the game.Vault Girl said:Jackalb said:I wouldn't mind them involving your family in the story, like Fable 2. However dragons plotting against your wife may be a little fat-fetched, maybe a side-quest of some sort.
I'd be a bit more worried if i got married in game and my husband starts having an affair while i'm off killing dragons...
You know what? This pretty much sums it all up right here. IF this feature actually adds depth to the characters (a deficiency that Oblivion can definitely be criticized for) then I'm 100% behind it. But if it comes off as just a tacked on, useless feature, I'll be disappointed with Bethesda for wasting their time with that, rather than adding more quests, dungeons, or the like...ChupathingyX said:This presents two possiblities;
*It will add more depth to characters and allow for some interesting character development and interaction.
*It will be a tacked on feature that is useless and just adds some simple dialogue with no meaning.

"Well, my magic and weapon using spouse is out killing a bunch of dragons and taking their souls.....so I guess I'll go cheat on 'em."
Exactly exactly exactly. I'm more worried about how they will handle the various jobs. Please, for the love of God, don't make me mash "x" to chop logs or to blacksmith (seriously fuck you fable 2).Irridium said:As for the feature, I say great. Anything to add depth to the empty, boring shells that were Oblivion's NPC's.
