Getting Married in Skyrim

I like the idea becuase you felt so unattached to the society in say, Oblivion. This might help Skyrim feel a little more immersive. I have heard the complaint a lot that in the previous TES games you feel like your character just dropped out of the sky. No one knows you and no one cares to know you! I think this will be a good addition as long as every NPC doesn't expect you to marry them after a couple of quests like in Fable.

Screw that, a dragon slaying world saving nord is probably going to be more of a ladies man than a married man.
