Yeah, it's one of those. I normally wouldn't do one of these, but I've been feeling a bit bummed lately, and thought perhaps someone on here could offer some advice.

Now, a little bit of back story. My ex and I had been together a tad under three years when this all went down, being engaged for one of those years. She was absolutely wonderful, and we agreed on almost everything that is crucial to a relationship, such as places to live, political and religious views, neither of us wanted children, etc. She was a very loyal person who I know would never cheat on me, so throw that out of the equation.

Everything was fine up until a month before she called it off. For no reason that I have been able to find she changed into a completely different person. Instead of being the light hearted, happy, easy going person she was, she became very critical of everything, wasn't as happy, and started to question everything that our relationship was built on. She had just taken her new birth control shot, which I thought was the cause, and when she showed signs of improving, I though all was well.

Fast forward to April 15th, the day your taxes are due here in the States, I'm in the middle of my shift at work and I get a text from her asking me to call her. This was not unusual because if she was ever having a bad day she would ask me to call her to cheer her up and all became well. So I call her and she calls off the engagement, as well as breaks up with me completely. I leave in the middle of my shift to go home to try to resolve the situation, and when I'm there to confront her about it, she stonewalls me. Gives me no reason or explanation whatsoever.

I still have yet to have any contact with her since this endeavor went down. I tried to get some closure about a month ago, just so I can rest a tad easier, but she will give me nothing. I am always nothing but chivalrous to my women, so it's not a case of me abusing her or anything like that. Help a confused guy out as for what to do to cope?
