I play more as that background guy. I avoid confrontation. If I disagree with you or don't like you, I generally avoid you or don't talk to you. If not, I'll be friendly, strike up conversations once in a while, and just be nice and polite. I've heard people sling some insults at people who I know and are friends of mine behind there backs, but with me, most people seem generally fine around me.

Didn't really have that much of a problem with it, due to having friends and a quick-wit.

I'm not really sure if this counts, but I did have this one guy at lunch constantly throwing cheese, food, and stuff like that in my hood. I asked him to stop and he did it again a week later. After I hit him with a lunch tray and punched him in the face, the lesson was learned.

My best friend didnt want to be my friend anymore, so she decided to bully me. For 3 years she made my life hell. Now she sucks up to me, I will never forgive her.

In middle school and like the first month of high school, I got picked on for being Jewish. Ugh. Kids can be so cruel. But that was only a few kids. I got along with everyone else just fine.

People keep calling me a 12-year-old because I started college early. Well, that and jeer like children and generally be unpleasant people.

I'm 17, and look it... -.-

I was too. I got my ass kicked and picked on until around 15 years old. Than I started to get really tall and larger than most of the people who used to pick on me. The picking on me part did not bother me so much after a while. But the beatings did. I took care of that too though. Such is life.

I think about 90% of everyone ever has been picked on as a kid, it's not that big a deal, especially when you look back on it.

There are lots of things you can do to stop it of course, don't take my advice though; seriously, don't.

My strategy has always been the path of lest resistance, or, in other words, getting into as many fights as I can until it stops. Still, it's not even that hard to deal with normally, though some have it worse than others I guess.

Shorty before the end of the year I pulled a guy off his feet by his shirt. People didn't really bother me after that.
I pulled a guy up by his throat, with one hand. Guy almost passed out from air loss.

I still got bullied.

At least till my last year of High school, where I was the Second or Third biggest guy in the place. The biggest was my Bestfriend.

Bullies are cowards. They have some problem with themselves, or at home and don't have the spine to stand up for themselves there, and bring it into school or work. Smack the "alpha" bully in front of his posse, and they should know better. You might risk a beating, but that is grounds for being expelled, and the bullies know this. And it is better to take ONE beating than getting bullied until you graduate or quit.

I got bullied quite a few times during my school life, but then again the "bullies" were mostly literal idiots.
I got bullied for numerous reasons including dying my hair red, my accent, my whispery voice, the fact that I'm from the North, being a "geek", having a beard, being smart, being willing to learn and generally just being different to other people. Oh, and playing Yu-Gi-Oh because I should be kicking a ball around not playing with bits of cardboard.

Good times all round

i was bullied in 7th and 8th grade just because i guess i looked easy, and then they stopped because at that point i looked like i was gonna kill them and had 9 years of karate to do it with, plus most people think anyone on the rifle team at my high school makes you a hit man. and now i'm at college were now one cares unless you give them a reason too.

I've never really been picked on, i'm good at the art of invisibility. Also no one cared or cares about me enough to even start picking on me...
edit: oh and the fact my sister was really popular and people knew she was scary when provoked.

Once. In preschool. My fathers solution was to punch him in the face o_O
I did, and was wholly unprepared to be punched back. And we've been friends ever since
Oh, shit. I thought you meant your dad punched the kid in the face. Hahahaha

I was homeschooled, and well. I wasn't antisocial or anything like the completely ridiculous stereotypes, but I was a bit sheltered: not on purpose, really, just as a result of not hanging around foul-mouthed guys every day. So when I joined my intermediate school's choir with a bunch of gutter-minded morons, I got picked on all the time, often simply because I didn't know the meaning of various obscene words or gestures.

Based on their grades and general lack of maturity, I question whether they made it out of high school...
