Getting rid of a cold

Well its the time of year when everyone starts getting ill, and due to me wondering around in the rain at 2 in the morning the other day I picked up a horrible cold, which wasnt helped by a weekend of weed, booze and airsoft.
Fortunatly I have a remedy for such a situation and proceeded to nuke myself with paracetamol till its gone, which it almost has.
So fellow escapists, what are your cures for the common cold/flu which plauges us at this time of year?

I have no cures, since I never get sick (*knocks on wood*). I say the best cure is prevention. Wash your hands, avoid sick people, and just have some common sense.

Video games and no work whatsoever. I doesn't cure you one little bit... but you won't want it to.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, it's hot and humid this time of year in Oz, I have currently caught a cold and I still have a Green Day concert to attend tonight Lucky me.

drink 2-3 glasses orange juice a day, and stand on ur head now and then to get all the mucus up your throat quicker, if ur like me no matter what ur gonna end up with a sore throat after the cold

I hate it, cause i'll always end up feeling guilty

either i:

a: call in sick at work, and stay home even though, i would be fully capable of working, which will eman someone else will have to take my shift (not that bad since theres a few of us who like sextra shifts cause of teh extra money)
OR
b: go to work and do my job without any problems, but risk infecting my co-workers.

So i can look like a selfish ass-hole with good work-spirit or a lazy ass-hole who hides behind the fact that he's protecting to co-workers, while making them work extra

I got a mild cold, and i've got work tomorrow...
