Getting stuck on meaningless decisions

Simple question: Do you ever find yourself, in the course of playing a game, getting stuck on some basically arbitrary decision in it? Not a big decision, just a tiny little thing that, in the grand scheme of the entire game, basically means nothing?

To give you an example: I'm currently playing Saint's Row The Third. I got it for Christmas, barely played it, then abandoned it for several months. But now I'm back. I've just gotten the point in the game where I am now able to take missions specifically targeting each individual gang and... I can't decide which gang to go after first.

In both Saint's Row and Saint's Row 2, when I played them, I always made it a point to go after each gang in turn. I know (or assume) that most people who play these games just do missions in whatever order they choose, but I'm nothing if not anal retentive. So I'm always compelled to take the gangs down one by one.

But with this one... I just can't decide which one to go after first. I mean, the decision means nothing much in the grand scheme but I just can't seem to make up my mind on it.

So... yeah. Anyone else find themselves pulling shit like this in games?

I hate too many options in games, believe it or not. Too much choice floods me with anxiety, unless it's a completely free wandering universe ala an Elder Scrolls title.

Say I'm in a dungeon, and there's one way to go. That's good! Two ways to go? Now I'm feeling sketchy. Three or four ways to go? Now I'm miserable. The thought of going the wrong way and potentially missing something breaks my brain.

I always have to either focus on Ornstein or Smough. Never just hack away at either one.

When I play RPGs I always get stuck in shops trying to figure out what to sell. I tend to hoard a lot, not only junk but also useful items like potions, equipment, etc, and at latest when my inventory gets full I can never decide what to get rid off. I even have to contemplate when it's about leaving items in storage.
The worst thing is, I don't even use anything usable ever because "I might need it later"..

Or do you just have a dirty mind?

In ME3 after you help out Jack and her biotic students the game gives you the choice of either throwing them into the front lines or sending them to perform relatively safe duties in a rear area.

Despite knowing it wasn't a big deal and would never rate more than a brief mention later on and a few readiness points, I sat there for a good five minutes trying to decide.

I second this emotion.

It's one of the Murphy's Laws of Videogames: "When given a choice of paths, the path that you DON'T choose will be filled with everything your character ever wanted (the best armor, best weapons, tons of cash, etc)."
