Usually I don't take it too seriously, I almost never get sick. I got sick last month but it wasn't the flu, and it passes by rather quick.

Though now it just hit me and it is agonizing. I've had a painful and runny nose since last night. I couldn't concentrate in class today and I just wanted to get home to constantly wipe my nose. But now it feels worse and I finally finished my homework but it really took it's toll on me, I was so fatigued and struggled just to keep on typing. I don't know how I will do tomorrow but I sure hope it does not seriously affect me or gets others around me sick.

So I am curious about how do all fo you feel when catching the seasonal flu. How do you feel? How do you dela with it? Does it hurt? Etc.

You probably got twenty people sick by attending school. :| There's a reason they tell you to stay home when you get ill. It's not because they care about your wellbeing. They want you to not spread it to anyone else.

Well in case you forgot staying home because you're sick doens't excuse you from assigments and being marked, only severe and/or life-threatening emergencies. It's not that I don't care about others' well-being, but missing class in college is far too costly so I must go regardless.

Besides I didn't touch anyone or sneeze today so I doubt I may have gotten anyone sick. I use hand sanitizer as well anyway, our school has installed hand sanitizers nearly everywhere.

I haven't been sick in a long time, and it's been even longer since I've had the flu. I wasn't feeling well today, but that was because of an incredibly wonky sleep schedule and a poor diet.

You know, I love when people tell you how inconsiderate you're being by going to school sick. Firs off, viruses take time to incubate, so you can be spreading them BEFORE you have any symptoms. More importantly, the school makes NO exception, even if you're sick.

///WARNING: SWINE FLU RANT\\\

The only thing they might make an exception to is the dreaded swine flu (oh noooeessss!!!!). I got H1N1, and it was nothing. A normal flu under another name. Stop crying, get the vaccination, or the sickness, get over it, and stop whining about it. The only exception here is newborns or old people, in that case, stick with the vaccination.

///END SWINE FLU RANT\\\

For me, the flu wasn't bad at all, just two days of dizziness and fatigue, then a quick recovery and I was back in the game. Only missed one day of school.
