When I ran peppermint on this netbook it appeared to support plug and play with this logitech mouse I found for 5 dollars. However, now I can't get my mouse to work at all on Xubuntu. Any advice for me?

Kay, I have no experience with Xubuntu at all, so I consulted google.

...

I'm somewhat stumped as well.

Here's what I got: http://askubuntu.com/questions/74293/mouse-not-working-after-xubuntu-desktop-install

Hope that helps.

Yeah, I actually brought up that page already. Nothing. Google has failed me. I guess I'll just stick with the touchpad then... :/

Well, I had that problem before with my mouse. It's also a Logitech.

What I did was:
Shut down the computer
Unplug the plug
Blow on it.
Unplug the mouse
Replace the battery
Plug it back in
Pray a bit
Boot the computer up

It worked.

Then again, I use windows 7.

Bingo. I don't think this version of Linux supports plug and play hardware... :/
Ah. I see.

Well, that might be your problem

Perhaps you could download a different version? I dunno how Linux and that stuff works. I just do the tipey things.
