Just follow me lads, i have a ... map ... sort of

Trin was eagerly trying to spot the LZ.

There it is! half a click north east from the town.

He started steering a bit north, approaching ground rapidly, he could spot the midnight traffic and the lights peering back to him.

 

[MasterSqueak]

Eric followed Trin down.

"Good thing this cap has ear clamps, even though they hurt like hell."

 

[Jav3lin]

Got that right

Trin took his chute and mask off.

There's our ride!

Trin compared a man with a photo. The man was standing next to a huge empty bus.

Nice ride.
Trin went up to him, and as soon as he said "nice ride" the man opened the bus and looked to the sky.

It was dark and clouds covered it, but if you look closely enough you saw people parachuting.

Parachuting is normal in Iceland, plus the clouds, no one will see you
The man said with a smile as he stood next to the open doors.

Alright guys!

Trin said with a military sergeant accent.

Loud up the bus! Get your gear ready, grab your chutes with you. And fasten your seatbelts gentlemen.

Trin got up inside the bus.
Oh, no seatbelts, well fuck it then!
He said with a smile.

As twenty minutes passed, they came to a right turn.

Alright, this is our off. Target is north-east by aprox four to five clicks. Let's move out!
Trin exited the bus and waited for the rest to get out.
It was dark outside, he took off his civilian clothes and threw them inside the bus. He adjusted his nightvision goggles on his head and prepared his rocket launcher on his back.

Eric took off his civilian clothes and dropped his bag. Opening his bag, he retrieved his webbing, guns, holsters, and smoke grenades.

Now that he was ready to go, he joined Trin outside.

 

[Jav3lin]

Alright boys, let's start walkin!

After about an hour of small conversations involving; bitching about the cold and crying about the heavy rain that was pouring down, they reached their destination.

As they spotted the farm in the distance, Trin jumped off the road.
Get off the road! Stick to the side, keep low and use bushes for cover. There ain't gonna be much cover until we reach that forest! We can hide in the treeline!

Five minutes later, after walking in the bushes and the dirt, an army jeep rolls past them. A little later he comes back the same way.

Patrols, should we take them out?

P.S. The road leads to the farm, the farm is about fifty meters from the forest, there is a little work shack up close to the forest, along with a small parking lot.
The forest is very small and mostly just pine trees.

Is anyone packing long range weaponry? It would be nice to have some over head cover if we're moving between houses and check for patrols.

Trin looked up the hill, the forest was very close, as a matter of a fact, the first trees were brushing against them. As he caught a glimpse of the hilltop he turned around and stopped.

Alright, there's a nice hilltop over there with a vantage point of the barn, road and the front side of the house. Who's on scouting duty?

Eric lowered his hands to his holsters.

"I'll scout."

 

[LockHeart]

Having gathered his gear and dressed in his battle uniform, Jason raised his hand.

"I can provide fire support with my HK, it's got a decent range on it."

He patted the weapon that hung by his side.

 

[Jav3lin]

Fair enough, Jason and Eric, you go to that hill and report on enemy contact. We don't have their exact positions so try to pinpoint them.

Trin began to move further into the forest to where he could have visual on the house.
Move out!

Eric sprinted ahead, making for the hill.

 

[LockHeart]

"Will do."

Jason turned and made after Eric.

 

[Jav3lin]

Fox1, Indigo3 do you read me? We have visual on the target. Upstairs western room. Confirm you have visual and report on any activity surrounding the farm. Indigo4 out. Over

Trin got up his knife and slowly made his way towards the work shack. He slit one of the guard's throats and threw him into the treeline.

Alright guys, let's set this shack up as a getaway area. Return here if you receive fire or casualties. First, let's clear the building. It looks like there's two rooms, many windows so move silently. There were several objects in there, and the rooms are closed by a large revolving door. Remember, keep silent and out of sight, Fox1 and Indigo3 haven't made contact of the snipers but im sure they're out there. Move out.

Trin crawled up to the wall and made sure that no one saw the team enter the shack. It was relevantly empty, but voices were on the other side.

Fox1, we're in the shack, do you have visual on the target? Over. Indigo3, see if you can identify how many there are in the room next to us. We're in the shack, north of the farmhouse. Over.

Trin pulled out his new assault rifle and steadied himself at the wall, next to the separation of the two rooms.

Trin and Sedrick breach the room next to them, and silently take out two guards.

Fox1 come in Fox1..

After the transmission Trin went up to one of the nearby windows and looked outside.
As he looked at the beautiful night water down the hill, he remembered why he was there, he remembered what his purpose on his planet was. Not to let this beautiful earth fall into the hands of these ..these BANDITS!

As he looked out and thought back on all these things, he fell to the ground as the glass in front of him shattered.
A .30 caliber round went flying through the shack, penetrating everything in its path. It went through some of Trin's uniform and caught a snatch of his arm, and then through the wall on the other side.

As Trin went flying on his back, the only word he could make out before he was lying on the floor, was;

SNIPER!

And as he lay there and gripped his arm, he turned to his teammates.

GET DOWN NOW! TAKE COVER!

Fox1! COME IN! FOX1!

 

[Jav3lin]

Fox1! Indigo3 come in, i need you to take out that sniper. I'm guessing there´s two or three. Atleast one to your east. Take 'em out, we're pinned down! I repeat, we're pinned down!

The sniper fire stopped, and Trin crouched behind the couch.
Alright, im guessing they're looking for our backup now, stay still. Once those snipers are dead, we move to the farmhouse.

I'm guessing barn!

Trin got up and crouched towards the door. He shut it and stuck a long metal tube into its folding.

Alright, that'd oughta hold 'em off!

Fox1 Come in. Fox1. Repeat, do you have visual on the target? Over.

Indigo3. Indigo3. Repeat can you take out that sniper? We're pinned down goddamn it and we ain't going anywhere! Over!

After the transmission, he rolled himself towards the front window. He grabbed a large shelf and tossed it in front of the main entrance door. Then, he picked up several boxes and placed them over the shelf, covering the front windows.

Alright, don't stand up, they may have heat sensors. Stay down, and wait for Indigo3 Alright?
Trin reloaded his gun and took a peak outside. There were no sniper fire, but he didn't want to be peaking for too long.
