The best incarnation of the Red Comet.
I love Shinanju/Red Comet. I'm not even a fan of Gundam but have ordered a few of their model kits over the years because I do admire some of their designs. Shinanju was the most difficult one I have ever completed (taking roughly one month to assemble) but it looks so good.

I've got a Master Grade Sinanju standing on my desk. It's an absolute beauty and one of the most well-designed model kits I've built. If they ever release a Perfect Grade of it, it'll probably the first one I'll ever buy.

Apart from that, I have to be loyal to one of the most OP Gundams of all time.

Piloted none other by Kira Yamato the Space Jesus. XD
Honestly, I think the original Freedom looks much better than the Strike Freedom. The SF is too busy and that gold... ugh... And with its nuclear reactor (UNLIMITED POWAH!) and dragoon units not functioning properly in an atmosphere, the Freedom might even be more powerful in certain situations. No detailed specs were ever published for the SEED series, so no definite proof of which one was actually the more powerful mobile suit. :)

Gotta go to one of my fave choices, White Glint. I mean, it's got wing like boosters on the back. How is that not awesome?!

Glad to see some other Battletech already in the thread.

For myself I will always be attached to the Timber Wolf/Mad Cat and its variants(left). I have a particular soft spot for the Mad Cat MK II and its dual Gauss rifles. I have fond memories of playing Mechwarrior IV with/against my Dad and his coworkers using my Mad Cat MK II against their Daishi/Dire Wolves. To this day I still carry that rivalry with Daishi's, my arch nemesis.

This thread has also found me a new wallpaper.

EDIT: and a new avatar

I've always had a certain fondness for the Daishi from mechwarrior

and as much fun as ID-Weltall is, nothing quite beats the robot named GOD from Xenogears... Behold: DEUS!!

its Xenosaga counterpart: Metempsychosis!!

and its Xenoblade version: BIONIS!!

can't quite beat a mecha the size of a planet, that uses and converts planets into weapons and won't die after one version of a game XD

The Mad Cat Mk. II... what a weirdo. Clan mech, which uses the Inner Sphere name because 'Why not.' One of the few mechs to go up a weight class when upgraded.

If anyone's curious, this is a Daishi (Dire Wolf).

The first two are Victor Steiner-Davion's, called 'Prometheus.'

Essentially the most powerful mech ever built outside the standard Battletech rules (There's a handful of super heavy/colossal units, but they're essentially unusable). On the tabletop, the fact that it has enough weapon bay space to (If the rules allowed) actually equip an entire medium mech is compensated by its outrageous battle point value. In the video games, its usually subject to equipment restrictions not usually applied to Omni-mechs (Mechs with modular weapon and equipment bays) to limit its over powered nature. If not, it quickly becomes the mech of choice by essentially everyone.

EDIT: Seems someone beat me to the punch on the Daishi. Damn you!
