Hello Escapists!
My sister is flying to Roma and will visit the vatican for a day. I gave her a 100$ bill and told her that I want her to buy me some souvenirs from there... But my mind is blank as to what I should as her to get.
The place is beautiful with paintings, sculptures and colorful windows from ages ago but I can't travel with them. I figured that I could ask her to buy me a statute of St. Peter, but besides that I really don't know what else I could ask her to buy.
Maybe you know better?

When I went I got a little glass thing which had scratches in the inside that formed a 3D model of roman landmarks, including St Paul's. There's a souvenir shop to the right of the main entrance to St Paul's where you can get them, I don't know if they're available anywhere else.

You just say at the register "I'd like to have this blessed as well" and they return it to you later in your visit. I think that's how I remember it going down, wasn't any hassle at all.

OT: I'm an atheist. Why the fuck does having a cross blessed by a priest seem so appealing to me. It might have something to do with how the mind processes value, shit I don't know.

Anyway get the cross. I may not believe in god, but if Jesus was a real person he at least taught (mostly) for people to be nice to eachother. The cross is his symbol and as a result symbolises that. Well to most people it symbolises christianity but wearing the stupid thing makes my mom happy and this is probably an excuse I made to myself so I could get her to shut up about not believing in god, but one can pretend can't one?

MSE did the exact same thing; Details said it came form a Javascript and the location of the suspended file was in my internet cache.
