My friend's ex left her for another man. She laughed it off.

I used to like a girl a lot for some reason (no idea why), and she said that she liked me. Oddly enough she liked her own sister more, so go figure. I didn't really get bothered by it--I was just weirded out.
Go out and find yourself another girl (or guy).

I can't imagine how that's different then your girlfriend leaving you for another guy or just leaving you for no-one.

I couldn't really imagine it being any different either. The question is really just "what do you do when your [sex here]friend leaves you?".

Strangely enough this has happened to me before.

We remained friends, not her fault she preferred girls.

I said that in the past tense as she has now figured out she's Bi, all good but since we aren't together anymore no funtimes for me.

OT: I guess you can't change how she feels, I guess it's just bad luck... I know I would be REALLY confused if this happened to me. It's happened to one of my friends as well, but he was a boy turned gay instead of vice-versa. It's no ones fault, and unfortunately you can't change how anyone feels about it...
