Gamers have been trained for a long time to work any controller handed to them within a few minutes. Hand a non-gamer(Of either gender) a controller and they will be lost. Even something as simple as Peggle on the xbox took both my parents forever to learn.

Maybe, I shouldn't ask that...the sheer amount of threads already in existence to this topic has exceeded my patience.

Here's a little hint: We humans are kinda a unique bunch. We're different in that we express how we choose to live in a multitude of ways and that we share different traits in geneology, thoughts and beliefs...but, at the same time, we're all the same - in that we live, express and simply experience as humans will. This supercedes all gender issues, and it always shall.

Stupidity doesn't discriminate, humans do.

And for the record - I give all of my fellow sisters (ALL of them, even my exes) living on this planet equal respect and appreciation...unless you prove yourself to be shit. I find this hilarious because recently, a boy older then me that claimed to play halo much much more then me (I've played at least 1 thousand games of halo JUST counting 3 and reach.) came to my house (somewhat uninvited) and challenged me to a halo match in
HALO REACH.

HALO. REACH.

He then proceeded to put HALO 3 (a completely different halo mind you!)into the xbox, put us in matchmaking into a zombie/infection mode game and then spent the better half of the time spinning around in the corner in circles and getting shot. By yours truly.

He has yet to admit to me that he has either A. NO experience in halo B. Difficulty with 3d controls or perhaps maybe C. Just isn't that good in halo. Though I doubt it.

I'm going with the latter just to be fair (I mean hey, he could've grabbed SOUL CALIBUR V off the shelf when he challenged me to a halo match)

That being said, it's both genders that have a difficult time. Not just women like me dear.

Gaming takes time and patience to master like any other skill, take something like music as an example.
I wouldn't expect ANYONE who haven't held an instrument in their life and someone who have years of experience be on par with each other, that would be rather fooling of me.
I'd say it has more to do with the person behind the keyboard if he/she is a good player, not the sex itself.

I'd bet if you two did something she loves and you just had an occasional interest in you wouldn't be as good as she was at it.
