You know...those two multiplayer characters.
The delicious, fat, and short fisherman as well as the smug actress. Obviously the characters everyone wants to be.

Ahem...Moving along then I'm going to give this out either when I wake up tomorrow or late tonight. It isn't like I have anything to do tomorrow seeing as there is a ridiculous amount of snow out there now.

As always, just post here and I'll plop you in the random drawing.

To let this have some form of sub-conversation; How do you like Bioshock 2's Multiplayer? Other than the occasional freezing...and the bad spawning system (for the most part).

EDIT: This is for the Xbox 360. Sorry about not putting that originally.

So far Bioshock 2's multiplayer works pretty well. It's a lot faster paced then Modern Warfare 2 and that was one of the major things I disliked about MW2. That and the plasmids spice things up a bit.

As for the code, keep it. I just wanted to comment on the Multiplayer. Their just character skins after all.

I haven't had a chance to play multiplayer yet, but sure, enter me in.

I'm relatively new to Bioshock (wasn't playing video games when the first came out), and I get killed pretty regularly. which from what I'm told is to be expected. So I'll have to give it some time before I'm not just adding to someone's kill count.

The multiplayer isn't bad but i'de rather play someother kind of multiplayer like Halo or CoD. It's still pretty fun though ^.^

Can I be in the draw? I like prizes!

I'd love to be in the run for the skins.
I've only reached rank 22 so far (I think the highest is 40).
The multiplayer is ok.
A quote from my favorite Muppet critics sums it up well, "Hey this isn't half bad" "Yea but it's not half good either"
My first issue with the multiplayer is that the maps are entirely taken from the first game, they literally copy and pasted sections.
The second problem is weapon imbalances. Pretty much everyone picks up the grenade launcher when it available and thus the spam fest begins. And it is available pretty early on. You'd think that maybe the weapons later on would probably be stronger, but they are terrible. The nail gun is pretty much the machine gun with a charge up time. The elephant gun is a double barrel shotgun. And the crossbow is a pistol with a single shot and a long reload.

The starting plasmids are also overly strong compared to the laughably weak plasmids you unlock later. You start with ice, fire, and lightning. You later unlock telekinesis, areo dash, Houdini, and bees.
Areo dash has a terribly weak hit detection especially since there is a lot of lag with player hosts. The basic idea is you dash towards an enemy, hit them and stun them, the problem with this is that most people will throw a plasmid in your face as you dash towards them or just instant kill shotgun you as you get close.
Telekinesis you grab random rubble and chuck it at enemies, but odds are you grab something incredibly tiny and even then it doesn't do a ton of damage. You might think hey I can grab one of those lovely exploding barrels and chuck it at some one. This are incredibly devastating, but obscenely rare, and even then finding one and carrying to to an enemy to throw at is a hassle because you're EVE levels drop rapidly the longer you hold an item. Houdini is basic invisibility but once again its another poorly conceived plasmid you go invisible but it only last a few seconds, and you leave a huge puff of red mist entering and leaving it. And since most people have the grenade launcher most people will shoot in the general direction of the mist and nail you.
Bees is pretty much just an attack that is meant to bother the enemy, it does very little damage but obscures the enemy. Pretty much anyone who has this on them will just spray gunfire and plasmids in your general direction.

The level of customization is really shallow, it was advertised as having trials like MW2, so I figured hey I use X gun a lot so I'll get attachments and whatnot, the same with plasmids. Unfortunately this is not the case, the guns get attachments based on what level you are and not based on whether or not you complete the trials. The plasmids never get any stronger.

Overall it isn't bad but I really wish they did more, it seems that it was quickly slapped together, especially since they didn't really have to create unique maps.

The one really nice thing is that people who really are rabid about the story, you unlock extra audio diaries to listen to as you rank up. And it gives some backstory as to what happened right after the New Year's Eve party.

The issue is that about every weapons damage (among other things depending on the weapon) was lowered to "balance" them. That mostly leaves you to pick which ever you're comfortable with.
I actually am quite fond of the cross bow. Three shots is what it takes (I always aim for the body, Don't waste my time with head shot attempts) to get someone down. Since they either have a shotgun, pistol, or machine gun they tend to miss enough for me to get three shots off.

Although that's expected for a game that has had multiplayer out for only 2 days now.
I need to get on and play that..i was finishing the campaign all day.

Can i be in the draw too please? Anyway, I just got the game today, been trying it for hours. It seems quite fun to me and stable, really like the pace too, reminds me of quake, lol... I really think shooters should have dedicated servers though.

I'd love to get a chance with the code. I just finished the Single Player, and I've started the multiplayer. I do quite like it, and seeing as I got the special edition (with the art book, etc), I couldn't get the characters and felt a little bit ripped.

However, seeing as you didn't mention what system your code is for (unless you have a website code), I have it on PS3.

i have the code myself, so i don't need the drawing. After giving the mp a go last night, i was plesantly surprised. i was expecting a fairly lackluster experience, but i thoroughly enjoyed the short time i played. there were a few lag issues, and mics were basically useless since everyone was constantly cutting in/out, but ive come to expect some minor bugs in a very new multiplayer system.

Sure, go ahead, put me in the drawing. I plan to get Bioshock 2 soon anyway.
