After watching ZP 100 vid again for kicks, I was wondering if anybody had any other games that came to mind that had something missing from them that were painfully obvious that should have been in there. Im talking things that left you with the feeling "Why the heck isnt THIS in there?"

A very big yes to this one.
I always wondered why we couldn't play as the demons in Warcraft 3.

Possibly because the Burning legion is the ultimate evil within that game. Every other facion, including the Undead, have some kind of redeeming qualities.

Also, because they as such didn't use armies of their own but rather preferred middlemen, puppets and plots to achieve their goals.

OT: Fast-travel system within Vampire:The Masquerade. Want to visit the Nosferatu from Chinatown? Only 5 loading screens with nothing interesting happening in between.

How about having the ability to find out if you're the host of a game or not?

Sometimes I'll leave a game if I'm getting pissed off, but i feel a right cock when I've ended everyone's game.

Co op in Killzone 2. So obvious...

Oh, and the option to completely customize your controls in any game, but FPS especially. Switching from the CoD scheme to the Halo scheme to some other game, I often mess up because I hit the wrong button, thinking I was playing a different game.

I do agree on your first point, but that doesn't mean Blizzard can't create units for the Legion. They'd be so over-powered yes, but I would like to have fire minions at my beck and call.

They could've done a combination of Fel-orcs, lesser infernals, the undead catapults, and some other units. Being able to do a separate campaign as them would be cool, also, but I don't know who your hero would be. Kil'Jaeden is too strong, and no one else is really there for the entirety of both games.

I smell Wc4 =D. Also because the burning legion only had one building and One hero unit.

True. It would be nice and I do believe there would be a market for an Overlord/Dungeon Keeper/Warcraft 3 kind of 'You're an evil demon/sorcerer/whatever. Engineer and execute a campaign to take over reality X'.

It just didn't fit with the entire 'tranced traditional racial boundaries to save to world' theme Warcraft 3 had going on.

Being able to change controls in Halo 3, and giving a decent aim for not sniper weapons. The controls are all messed. LT to grenade, are you bloody kidding me?

Warcraft 4 won't come out for a very long time. They'll bring it out when they run out of expansion ideas for WoW. It's a shame, too.

A resurrected Sargeras might have been nice. On the other hand, it would have been far too overpowered.

But that's what Burning Legion is all about, right?

EDIT: Or perhaps Gul'Dan who has half-tranceded the demon blood inside him but is loyal to the Burning Legion?

The quests in Fable 2, though i guess this only applies if you listened to Peter Molyneux when he said it would be around a thousand hour game, then you beat in like 10 and go around looking for all the quests that were optional and you probably missed... and there are none
