So apparently Glenn Beck made fun of Obama's daughter and put forth an apology after enough people complained that he had broken his own rule of not making fun of people's families(he uses that to defend Palin).

Found it here [http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/glenn-beck-apologizes-for-making-fun-of-barack-obamas-daughter-malia/19496426?icid=main|compaq-laptop|dl1|link3|http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aolnews.com%2Fnation%2Farticle%2Fglenn-beck-apologizes-for-making-fun-of-barack-obamas-daughter-malia%2F19496426]. Not sure if that's a trustworthy source though. Can anyone verify this?

I think the only reason he's still alive is that neither Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, Sheol, the Abyss, the Underworld, Pet Heaven or any other belief system's version of the afterlife will have him.

He's destined to roam the Earth in a permanent state of crying undeath, making an arse of himself for all eternity.

He's human like the rest of us, too bad the current political/celebrity atmosphere has zero room for forgiveness. Seems these days if a political figure makes one oops it is the end of thier career because hatred runs so deep in politics these days. I am indifferent on the guy, I've heard him talk penty; agreed with him and times and dissagreed at others. As I see it he is just another person speaking thier mind. He can be controvertial, but at least he isnt as venomous as some (I wont list my examples at mind because I dont want to contribute to the atmosphere of hate in politics today).

In contradiction to what some may think, I DONT think he should be shut up, any more than someone on the opposite end of the spectrum (like Michael Moore) should be. America is more center than most sources would have you think, and it stays there because boths sides are occationally right and the occational extreams are a good reminder that the middle is where we should stay. Just wish people wouldnt treat people with opposite viewpoints as if they are all evil.

This shows how hypocritical and stupid this guy is.

Glen Beck is probably the biggest ass that Fox has ever seen. A
AND THAT SAYS A SHIT LOAD.

[sub]Fun fact, I don't hate Glen Beck because I'm a Democrat (I'm independent), I hate him because he is a douche.
Yeah. I said it.[/sub]

Hypocrisy is everywhere... and it's especially abundant in politics. Doesn't matter what is this guy's preference for politics is, there's someone on the other end acting just like him.

So he's essentially been cursed with the Mark of Evil... good to know.

This is the reputation this guys has? He might be apologizing to a little girl, and we have a hard time believing he'd even do that?

Of course he apologized to the little girl! What's his other option? "She was asking for it?" "She Started it!" "Rupert Murdoch told me to!"

The man is in a position where he owes a 12-year-old an apology. He must look in the mirror every morning while practicing his pretend tears and say, "How did I ever stoop this low"?

Media Matters is not a reliable source. I don't support/like Beck or Obama, but Media Matters are outright liars. But apparently he did apologize for that. Personally, if i was a media host of some sort I would never apologize for anything. At least beck never suggested that we arrest Dick Cheney and put him in stockades for public amusement like rachel maddow on msnbc. That is straight up demeaning and violent. No matter where one of these scummy journalists lie on this crazy roller coaster called American politics, odds are they think they are so right that if someone disagrees, they are stupid and need to be expunged. Know what I'd like to see? More libertarian viewpoints; Like Stossel on Fox Business.

Are you saying his right-wing-ism and crybaby antics are his Mark of Cain, his Albatross about his neck?

You know, I fall pretty far to the left, but I don't consider "right-wing-ism" itself to be shameful, and I think most conservatives would rather not be connected to Glen Beck's psychotic, racist and anarchist bullsh*t

Take Canadian politics for example. I would say even the staunchest conservative in Canada is further left than the American democratic party. Being Right Wing isn't a bad thing. Being a crazy jerk is. Being on Fox News is, and yeah being a racist is. But Conservatives really shouldn't be connected to those ideas.

I can't wait to see what Stewart and Colbert makes of this.
It's so juicy I could cry.
Oh, and seconded.
If this is true, somebody is going to get owned.
OT: Who can even take the guy seriously - he's a scare-mongering comedian with Nazi tourettes.
That's so bad it has to be hilarious.

As much as I hate him, he has the right to say what he wants without having to apologize.
He has the right to insult other peoples intelligence and children on air? I believe a court would say otherwise.
