Glitch: The Game

I had an odd thought today and was wondering about the creativity of the Escapist community. Is it possible to make a fun game that is completely glitched out? Not only glitched out, but glitched out on purpose?

Lemme know your thoughts on the subject, just for SAG.

Yes, it could be. Cleril's new game Schizophrenia seems to do something like that, it seems like its glitched to hell but it is meant to be like that.

Wasn't the PS3 version of Red Dead Redemption supposed to have tons of awesome glitches that give animal AI scripting to humans? I played the 360 version, and never saw a single glitch. I was hoping to see a donkey woman or a jaguar man.

Any glitch that is done on purpose is no longer a glitch but a feature. So technically - no, but in the sense that people have done fun things that weren't supposed to be there - yes.

Everything released by Bethesda. Oblivion and Fallout 3 had bugs up the arse. Most of them were hilarious, though. They're also some of the most fun games I've ever played.

I suppose if it got to the level of the game crashing all the time, that would destroy a game, though.

There are some games on Newgrounds that seem to glitch and warp on purpose. So...yes.
