I recently bought global agenda and was kind of disappointed with several things.

1. No way, as far as i know, of resetting talent points
2. no free roaming like in pretty much every other MMO out there today
3. Plays more like a TF2 with a lobby
4. Lack of map and mission differences especially in PvE
5. Armor is only for looks

Despite all of this, the game was actually enjoyable. Once you stop looking at it like an MMO and more like a third person shooter that you can customize your character in, it becomes much better.

Fully agreed with OP. Global Agenda is a great game... but, like most MMORPGs released these days, so heavily instanced that I really don't want to pay $15/mo for the experience.

Yet, charge $15/mo is what they're planning to do, for this aspect of the game starting in March:

Without the free roaming, it's not quite enough to be worth a subscription, IMHO.

I don't really need the game. I've got my own global agenda. *chuckles evilly*

Also, I don't get into MMOG for the reasons mentioned above and because people are total assholes online.

Despite the occasional rager and racist, online games aren't too bad. you're always treated the same way you treat people in those games, for the most part anyway.

I know that I have the tendency to be a tad loquacious, but dear god man: too short. Your "review" is a list of five bullet points. That's a paragraph.

ONE PARAGRAPH.

Typically even the shortest of essays have a intro paragraph, a body consisting of one to five paragraphs, and a conclusive paragraph... three paragraphs at least. This is just the body without any context or flavor.

Your review tells me nothing. In fact, if I hadn't already done some research into the game, I wouldn't even know what you were talking about.

I think the problem with this game is that they expect too highly of their players. At heart, this game seems to be a mindless shooter- which, as the past has dictated, doesn't really mesh well with any sort of tactical input.

I mean, the video shown above demonstrates a complex series of events, and if that were to be the genuine experience, then i'd give this game a look-in. The prospect of being able to shape a war with individual battles and decisions sounds amazing. To be honest though, I can't see the 'Global Agenda' amounting to anything more than groups of players building hundreds of turrets around home base and sending a load of players towards the other teams home base.

If there's a demo or trial anyone can direct me to, though, i'd love to be proven wrong.
