Glorious Need

There have been one too many games out there that has caught my attention, and many that I thought that needed to be done over. So I ask what are the games you think that is in desperate need of being redone.

You mean what games had great potential but weren't executed well? I'd change the topic line to something that actually reflects the topic.

As for a response, I felt that Super Mario Galaxy actually could have been a good Mario game if the game was expanded a bit, particularly the observatory which, unlike Delfino or the Princess' Castle, felt more like just a way to get from world to world. Also, the worlds should have remained free-range and open, allowing players to get any star at just about any time. And obviously the controls needed a little reworking

Both Megaman ZX games, and Megaman Battle Network 4, 5, and 6 are what first come to mind with me. I kind of agree on the Super Mario Galaxy one, but I actually enjoyed that game more than Sunshine. But then again, it might be because I freakin loved the music =P

And I don't know whether I'll be stoned for this or not, but I actually feel that Valve could have done better with Half Life 2 Episode 2. I didn't enjoy it half as much as I did HL2 and Ep1.

Fable. Don't get me wrong its a fun game, but they could have done so much more with it. Damn hype

Drakan! No, seriously, one of my all-time favorite games apart from the ending which was dull.

I'd also like to see the old D&D games like Pool of Radiance and Eye of the Beholder be redone.

Oh, and I'd at least like to see KotOR 2 *fixed* if not remade.
