I'd like a GMod movie. The new guys/untalented come in and wreck a guy's cannon that will fire melons everywhere which he has been working on for days. This prompts the builder to go insane and destroy the GMod Universe!
But I guess my vote would go for Civilization 4. It would just be a really long, inaccurate, historical dumbumentary. Could give a few giggles though I suppose..

Or maybe of Borderlands - the setting is cliche, and plot is waifer-thin. Developers knew that people are not coming to their game for plot, so they didn't bother with it in the first place. And they don't even try to hide that fact.

A movie based on RTS (Supreme Commander, for example) is actually not that bad of an idea. It would allow for justified epic battle scenes, and dramatic sequences along the lines of "Sir, we cannot hold them off, we must run!" "No we can't, there are civilians we have to save!"Joe Deadman said:

Halo would make a good film, proided it focused on other characters rather than the Master Chief (the novels and other games give masses of backstory to make a film from), and if it was done by Peter Jackson and Neill Blomkamp (the style they used for District 9 would actually work really wel on a Halo film).Koeryn said:
