EA, Microsoft, where are your big super-sales?
I know you probably already know this, but they are.The Great JT said:I hope those TF2 shades are a Miscellaneous slot item. Wouldn't mind swapping them in over the License To Maim for the Sniper and Scout.
From what we can understand:ScottocS said:So are the Daily Activities in essence, "daily" as in only available on the day they are announced like the Steam Treasure Hunt?
I'm celebrating my 21st Birthday Tonight until about 12am and fear I will miss out on this first batch.. seeing I own and actively play every one of them. :'(

In other news, CAPITALISM HO!
It's not their servers, it's your ISP. I'm on the ass end of the planet (Australia) and down here all the two major ISP's (Optus and Telstra) throttle the link speed on the local in-country steam servers. It's actually faster for me to change my location to San Jose and download - goes from 100k/s to 400-500k/s.Zulnam said:You gotta love AND HATE Steam Summer Sale. Downloading Shogun 2 (18 GB) now with... 20 kb/s... Seriously, with all the money they're getting from Steam, you'd expect them to have some bloody decent servers by now.
Oh well, at least I'll have something to play when I retire.
Update: To anyone who thought I was kidding: it has been almost an hour since I began the download and I'm at 150 mb downloaded with 208 kb/s.
Shit, just checked Steam today for new deals and saw the Half-Life bundle I bought a few days ago for half the price.OldKingClancy said:Just bought Half Life 2 plus the two episodes and Garry's mod and that was day one.
I might by turning into a Valve fanboy, and I'm alright with that.
