Last year a friend of mine bought me Train Simulator 2013 as a joke. I'm planning on getting this for him to repay the "favor."

You know what I am almost sold on this game that trailer was masterful it really looks like they have embraced the ridiculous nature of this game hopefully the game is as fun as it looks.
LGR did an awesome half-hour LP of the game and he really sinks his teeth into it. Worth watching! This game is just as good as it looked in all of the previews.

Sorry you got it around the wrong way, this game is made for lets players. I think Total Biscuit is on to something when he said this game is pretty much pewdiebait. The idea of making these games is a marketing scheme, lets players play them for ad-revenue and its also a prime advertisement too (oh how mildy 'ironic'). All these simulator games seems to be getting a bit out of hand, you have train and plane simulators but they've been a thing for years, it started to get a bit weird at farming simulator, the weirdness of surgeon simulator.....is just that, it's weird but having to jiggle your arms about feels like Octodad. Now we got Goat simulator, think we've passed the point of simulators now..

Ah, a colledge joke that got so much traction they actually made that game. same deal as that game that simulates you sitting in front of PC playing WOW. its a joke that knows its a joke and acts accordingly. everyone will have forgotten it in a year and then i will blast all my profiles playing it. just because.

Actually, I do believe Scrumpmonkey as odd as that seems. I don't believe videos and such. Official website and videos, I don't believe it. Random stranger says "I own it" and I believe them. Although part of it is due to me being a little familiar with Scrumpmonkey's posts. As far as the game goes, now that I don't see it as an April Fool's joke, I have no idea what to make of it.
