This is a minor rant but there is discussion value in it later I swear.

I wanted Final Fantasy IX so I went to the internet where for a looooong time it was priced at around 60 pounds, then it went down to thirty some months later, then a few days ago it seemed everyone was selling it at half the price. I thought I was in for a chance. I was bidding on one, the current bid was 12.72 and there were 4 seconds left. I put in my bid and clicked place bid, thinking I'd undoubtedly win as no-one could place a bid in the last 4 seconds.
Then ebay pissed me off. Upon clicking "place bid" I was brought to another screen to confirm my fucking bid! WTF? Why would i need to confirm it? I placed my bid, that should be the end of it! Fucking confirmation made me lose it. Now I'm sad and have to wait until I get some money, which is hard without a job.

Also, OP, you can get FFIX off of Amazon for about $9.00, which is considerably cheaper than what you would have payed, and it's available off of PSN, too...

Well, I had been price hunting for Chrono Trigger DS for a few weeks. By the time my dad ok'd it for purchase off of Amazon, the lowest price (9.49 or something) had already been sold, and so I got it for 11.48, not bad, but it hasn't shipped yet, and might not get here for a while...

Also, OP, you can get FFIX off of Amazon for about $9.00, which is considerably cheaper than what you would have payed, and it's available off of PSN, too...

Unfortunately I do not live in the US nor do I have a PS3. So I have to buy a european copy on ebay or amazon since shops around here don't sell any games before the current gen apart from ps2.

Yeah, funny how that works out. Pounds are worth about $1.59 right now. I wonder if Amazon will exchange your money if you order from the US? Shipping would be hella expensive, though.
Probably not worth it, however.

I was about to get my first expert campaign completed when the game minimized for a mcafee alert, and when I re-opened it, the game was playing, the game was still working, but refused to show anything more than a black screen. I could even here the gunshots when I fired.

Also, when I bought half life anthology, about 2 minutes later it went on sale.
