Why would you make a PG-13 God of War?

That's like making a PG-13 Terminator just for the money, oh wait.

I'm kind of surprised its taken this long for the game to be considered to be made into a film, (this is the first I'd heard of it at least). I think there's potentially a pretty good epic to be had, if it's done right.
I can't help but feel the choice of director seems a little... odd.

Though I really can't imagine a toned down God of War being remotely similar to the game. I'll try and not let that cloud my judgement on it until I see it.

PG-13 God of War, yeah right...

If PG-13 Max Payne is possible, PG-13 God of War is even more easy to make. Unfortunately.

Anyways, I'll expect Vin Diesel or Jason Statham to be cast. Not because they were the best choice, but because they are action stars who are bald, and therefore will be chosen.

By that Logic, why don't they just grab Bruce Willis for the role?

...And now for some reason all i can picture is Bruce Willis chasing down a cerberus while swinging the blades of athena and screaming out "YIPPEE KI YAY ************!" at the top of his lungs..
